Lesson:
Today's lesson was on measuring MASS. I taught units of measurement for Mass and how it is the same for length when using the metric system. I showed and explained how to use a Triple Beam Balance, how to measure the mass of a solid and how to measure the mass of liquids. Students then practiced measuring using a TBB at their lab stations. Packet paper #4 was filled out for this assignment.
Homework... Practice reading numbers on the TBB. This is due tomorrow at the beginning of class. *You will have to pick up this paper in the missed work box.
*If you were absent, please remind me to flag you for SMART time on Tuesday to make up the lab practice!
